LA Kings Move up and Select….
Derek Forbort!
Another great defenseman from the U.S. program. Standing at 6-foot-5 Derek is considered a strong two way defenceman. Derek’s current hockey plans are to go to North Dakota for college this fall. While he was not aware the Kings were really looking at him the fact that Lombardi traded two draft picks to move up from pick 19 to take him at pick 15 says how much potential the Kings see in his future.
LAKBC would like to welcome Derek to the LA Kings!
Do not forget any draft pictures you want to share post on our facebook group and we will add them here!
And as always thank you to our wonderful volunteers!
Congratz Captain Jack!
Los Angeles Kings defenseman Jack Johnson was named captain of Team USA for the 2010 World Championships. Matt Green was named as an alternate captain.
Thank you for a great season!
Thank you Boosters!
